With Wharton and Gross expected back, Lewis expected back, it changes what we'll do in FA. Things are a little more wide open, so pick a FA or two, cut a couple people, and make picks, etc.

    13. Campbell- big guy similar to Pep, cheaper than any FA DE we can find.
    43. Reach for Cherilus- Need an OL somewhere.
    74. BPA- Jamar Adams, I guess- Any bets on if we take another center?

Philips the FS at 13. like the OT Wiliams here too but we have some flexability with the Wharton resigning.

Good God, Gosder being available at #43 is a no brainer for me.

Matt Forte in the third since I cut Deshaun! (Edit to note Owen Schmitt is also available for us in R3)

    13. Calais Campbell - bookend him with Peppers and have a good pass rush once again?

    43. Gosder Cherilus - If we have Wharton and Gross back then one of them can play inside at guard.

    74. Thomas Decoud - pair him with Harris for the next few years and we can stop b*tching about safeties.

pick up another guard on day two may Scheuning

    Cut Hartwig, Foster and Kemo
    Keep Jenkins and Hoover

Sign Bryant Johnson and Musa Smith

That makes zero sense on the cap.

So does Hartwig at RG or as depth.

If Hartwig can not start I would rather dump him and take the cap hit this year when we can afford it.

Its not like he wouldn't be good depth and if we keep him we may eventually get cap savings from cutting him rather than just hurting ourselves to get Kalil on the field.

v1 - we kept both tackles. Between Kalil and Hartwig, one is our LG. We buy a RG from somewhere - who the fuck knows. Jake Scott? I don't want to say Faneca, because of cost. Cut Foster for Michael Pittman.
We buy a FA FS (let's say Gibril Wilson), and a FA WR (let's say Wilford).

    13. Calais Campbell, DE - with no FA available, the draft becomes the only way we'll really get any additional rush.

    43. Gosder Cherilus, OT - options, and could fit at guard or tackle.

    73. Martin Rucker, TE - We don't need another young TE as much as a vet, but Rucker's a steal here IMO. Also could throw in Schmitt, or other misc O player.

Frank Okam or Roy Schuening in the 4th

v1a - Wharton is a guard. No free agent OL pickup, rest is same as above.

    13. Chris Williams, OT - ideal.

    43. Chris Ellis - Adds rush part time, can grow into good overall end.

    74. misc offensive player above - could also go Decoud, Kevin Smith, etc

edit- I put Cherilus in there by default on the first option. We really don't need him there. I suck, though, because I hit reply before I figured that out and had to throw something in there.
