    Morgan just called me back.

He sounds upbeat, he kinda knew this was coming down the pike, so he was prepared (as best he could be) for it.

He's in Arizona working with a trainer, rehabbing his achilles, and he wants to play somewhere next year, likely for the vet minimum. If the team that offers him a deal throws incentives in it, that would be fine too--he just wants to play.

Damn, I hate it when good people get released. I understand why the Panthers did it, and I don't fault them--it's business. Ya just wish a guy like him coulda stayed healthy longer, and was injured less often.

    neat.

and yeah, he's a good guy. He worked hard. Other than the way he talked sometimes, he knew what was going on. Never killed anyone, never got shot by anyone. This one was a sure thing.

Watch him sign cheap somewhere and be an all star.

Still the right move, albeit about three years too late.

I am glad Morgan is a good guy and has a good attitude but he needs to really think hard about his decision to keep playing. He is going get hurt permanently if he is not careful. For his own sake and for his family's he needs to think hard about hanging it up. He should be set financially.

Is it due to his play or the money thrown at him by other teams?
