Probably looking at a little change this year. Probably the guys that should've gone last year.

Steve Fairchild's already taken the Colorado State job, leaving the Bills' OC job open. Notably, looks like Marv Levy's stepping down as well, which probably won't leave Dick Jauron with much security.

Mike Martz is reportedly out as OC for the Lions, but won't be out of work for long obviously.

Cam Cameron is expected to go. That leaves Mike Mularkey and Dom Capers out of jobs as well, almost certainly.

Maybe Mularkey can sit behind Cowher on CBS for a year. Dom Capers used to have a house near lake norman, so he might possibly take the NC T&A Polytechnic job.

Could we just bring back Dom's toupee? Must Dom come with said toupee?

Falcons are using Ernie Accorsi to hire the new coach, giving some theoretical credability to the idea that they're going to hire a coach with ultimate authority.

In related news, Marty Schottenheimer wants ultimate authority.

Also forgot about last night's hiring of Neuheisel to UCLA.

And there's Mike Sherman to Tex A&M. Lots of OCs on the move this year.

Karl Dorrell most likely to replace Sherman, good hire if so.

Will probably be ongoing talk involving whether Parcells can get Scott Pioli. If Pioli can't move, or if another team gets the jump on the process, they could land Tom Dimitroff, an up and coming guy IMO.

Who would be suitable replacements to Crossman and could you see a true GM or someone to gauge talent better?

Plenty of GM type guys out there. I threw out a list earlier, I guess I could find it. I also didn't realize Floyd Reese was still available, which would be an interesting hire. Titans fans fell both ways on him.

As for ST coach, I don't know. Only one I know would be available is Keith Armstrong, Miami. He seems fairly tied to the area, if he can stay; he's been there under 4 of the 7 coaches in Dolphin history (though, that's still just from 2001 on). Their units have done pretty well overall, though.

edit- I guess you can assume Jerry Rosburg, of Atlanta, to be out there. He's solid quality. Brian Van Gorder would be an excellent coach if we had a hole anywhere on D.

I don't think anyone can get "ultimate authority" in Atlanta. Blank is too much of a meddler.

The Rams went out with a 31 point loss to Arizona. 3-13. Just sayin.
