    Don't forget the ladder. They been around a few years now. You can find one at your local Lowes/Home Depot/WalMart.

    New question -

    Does anyone have any advice about painting trim? Any tips about how to make it easier or things you've realized you shouldn't do?

    You can try painters tape but I don't really like that stuff. I just use a straight edge. Takes longer but I don't have to worry about paint peeling off.
