BWI-Panther,,,,, I understand what you're saying, and it makes sense to wait a couple more games (in most cases) especially if you think clearing the bench is like throwing in the towel. HOWEVER, the reason I would go ahead and play the youngens now is that right now our regulars aren't even competitive. We are not losing heartbreakers, we are getting blown out.

Its clearly time to give someone else a chance, and if the youngens can't do any better, at least we will have a better idea whether to keep or cut them for next year.

I hate to think we finish 4-12 or 5-11 and haven't learned anymore about our youngens than we know right now. Say what you want about Jarrett, but he hasn't been given a chance, and he was (what) our 2nd round pick? In fact us picking him was enough that we immediately dropped Keyshawn.

Somebody somewhere has simply got to start making some decisions that make sense and/or draw positive results. We can whine about "Jake's out" or we can make all the excuses we want,,,, but the bottomline is what we have been doing the last 2 years just is not working.

obviously, but it doesnt do the team any good...and as mentioned in an earlier post, we are getting blown out, losing by an average of i believe 16 points over the last 5-6 games...something needs to change, and since it wont be the coaches this year, why not some of the players...

on 610 McClain was saying today that a Panther coach has never survived a season of worse than 7-9, if that holds true, maybe he is trying to get to 7 wins...

I'm a Foster fan and I agree, give DW the start and see what he can do with it.

Let's hope like hell Testaverde can make it to Sunday healthy.

if things play out as expected and the Panthers finish 5-11 Fox will be 30-34 since the Super Bowl run. That's the same record that resulted in Capers getting the axe.

But, that extra win could mean picking 8 slots later in the draft.
