I coudln't watch much of our game, obviously. So I watched the Ravens vs Browns. Just to watch a couple of QBs who have been bandied about.

Boller made some decent plays here and their, but he rushes his throws and doesn't set his feet consistantly, and is often errant. At this point, that's going to be what he is. He's going to be under contract with them next year, so I figure they give him the job on a short leash and cut McNair, who isn't healthy and may never be again.

Anderson is a little bigger, tall and strong with a big arm. He shook off and made some passes down the field with hanging on his feet and shoulder. He does stare down recievers. I never like it when I can tell where a QB is looking to throw before he throws it all the time. But he is accurate in the pocket and suprisingly strong, and can move a little bit. A bit of a poor man's Carson Palmer. He made some very tough throws under durress, and won the game for them after Baltmore came back to tie it.

Crazy play at the end of the regulation. Cleveland's kicker, on a 51 yarder, hit the right cross bar, and then hit the back support bar that goes into the ground. The ball then falls forward, and the refs call no good. Then one of the refs, after the Ravens left the field, reminded the rest of the crew that, in fact, if it hits the support bar, the ball went through the uprights initally and should be good. But supposedly this isn't reveiwable. But they reviewed it, unoffically, and then said "after discussing the play," reversed the initial call.

I'd like to see Billick presser.

I'd prefer Boller- Anderson makes some dumb passes.

Both have some potential. If Cleveland is smart, they'll trade Anderson for a first and third after the season.

Well, both do, though Anderson seems more willing to force the ball into coverage. Boller will make the right read and the ball will go some place else. And his recievers are much worse. They left some plays out on the field for him, while Anderson has Winslow, Edwards, and Jurevicius, each of whom went and got balls that might have otherwise been picked.

A lot of Anderson's success this year has to do with the weapons he has.

Both have nice, lively arms and some athleticism and competitiveness.

If the Browns are lucky, Derek Anderson will get a slight injury to keep him out of one game and they can get a look at Brady Quinn.
