presently it looks like we have the 15th pick in next year's draft. Here are the remaining schedules for the Panthers and the rest of the teams at 4-5 or worse. Any one want to make a projection where we end up pickwise? I still think Seattle takes San Francisco tonight, but I'll throw them in the mix as well. I think the top three spots (Miami, St Louis, and the Jets) are locked up.

    Carolina (4-5)
    H-NO, SF, Sea, Dal

    Chicago (4-5)

    A-Sea, Wash, Minn

    Cincinnati (3-6)
    H-Az, Tenn, StL, Clev
    A-Pitt, SF, Mia

    Denver (4-5)
    H-Tenn, KC, Minn
    A-Chi, Oak, Hou, SD

    Houston (4-5)

#6 overall is very high for a safety. If Phillips that good? Solidifying our secondary with a blue chip free safety would not be the worst move we could make.

He'd probably be a bit of a reach- at the same time the skins suit up 2 top 10 picks at safety- but we built this team on D and he could help make us elite; remember: a lot can change between now and then- depending on combine and how he looks on film we may be able to trade down to land him- at least thats what I hope happens.

Whoohoo! That dude's from my alma mater. He is really good considering he's from a small liberal arts college. Newberry's had a few people go to the NFL but none have made final rosters. :frown:

I think Andre Woodson will end up rated higher than Brohm or Ryan by the time the draft starts, due to his measurables.

Oher and Clady should be top 15 tackles. Chris Long and Cambell at DE might be a possiblity. As much as I'd like to see the defense become elite, I think the offense really has the need at this point.

    06 Oher OT
    37 Limas Sweed WR
    59 Zibikowski FS
91 Goff LB Scott Wright rates him as the top MLB. Hopefully we don't need a back up.

6 Ed Hart, SS, 6-7, 165, Southern North Dakota State Tech

37 Dale Pike, OT, 5-6, 395, Merchant Marine Academy

    91 Rufus LeCroix, PK, 6-0, 270, Washington & Lee
