    Yes you can. You just have to pay the player according to how their contract is structured. It's not a league fine, money that is owed based on the contract goes to the player.

    it's signing bonus proration.

    That said, David Carr isn't good enough and people aren't going to be that happy with subpar.

    thats promised money. Promised or guaranteed money isnt all the money on the contract, its like money promised for agreeing to the contract. if u release a player before his contract ends, then u get shitted on pretty much...why the hell are we arguing about this?

    because you were describing something we knew, in a way that didn't sound like you knew what you were supposedly teaching us.


    Plus, we've been bitching about Carr's crappy play since it started being crappy.

    Becuase you said the league fined teams for cutting players and they cant cut a player before their contract is up. Both are untrue.

    Dude, shut the hell up and argue about david carr, not goddamn money bullshit, there is a certain point u have 2 wait before cutting players with a contract not ending or you can be fined and I know that is true
