Addai also has Manning, Wayne, Clark, & Harrison to distract defenses and a top offensive line.

Actually, the Colts have had a lot of turnover on their O-line. They are on their 3rd LT this year alone (if you count the fact that Tarik Glenn didn't retire till training camp). He breaks tackles, and plays hella fast.

we could be better on the line, but the bigger difference is that he's splitting more carries. And this year, he has no pass help.

Really? Addai's longest rush is 41 yards, and prior to this game, his longest reception was 21 yards. Williams had him beat in both. Also, Addai's career yards per carry average for a very good team with a history of run blocking well is 4.8. Meanwhile Williams' career yards per carry average for a mediocre team with a history of shitty run blocking is 4.5.

Look, there's no question that Addai is good, but so is DeAngelo. We've all seen Williams show flashes of brilliance. Switch the teams around them and you'd be bitching about us making the wrong decision in taking Addai.

Really. Seems to me, if DW was truly head and shoulders better than Foster, he would get the playing time. Fox is stubborn, but not fucking stupid.

You guys really think Joe Addai would be tearing it up behind our line and with our QB situation? Get real.

I think no one short of Adrian Peterson would be tearing it up behind our line. I think Addai is a better RB than DW, yes.
