true enough. did Smith punch him? did he tell him he sucked? no and no. he told him to go watch film. Jarrett has been a ghost (in honor of Halloween) all season long. Why? Rumor has it he's not picking up the offense, or lacking in film study. 7 year vet tells him to go watch film--suggestion to rookie to become a pro--get better.

It's really not that big a deal that it deserved a "Smith v. Jarrett-round 1" thread.

It is my peanut gallery opinion that local media enjoys controversy and tries to create it when it isn't there (see the off-season stuff about our QB controversy, for one). Heck, I thought that was obvious that they do that sort of thing. No big deal though, I'm not invested all that much in media opinions.

We cut our #2 right after the draft and though there were folks interpreting that as meaning Jarrett was the new #2, I never thought that but I'm admittedly in the minority there. Him not seeing a lot of the field just is no surprise here.

I still don't get the Key cut though and that seems like a better opportunity to stir shit up. "hey, they cut Key to depend on Jarrett but they can't coach him up to be ready?", somebody needs to be accountable, lol.

media's supposed to report whatever. I doubt it makes a headline, it's just a blog.
