    be nice if he did do something. Smitty shouldn't handle that in the press, but there's not much clearer a message than what he did.

    he didn't handle it in the press...he handled it with Jarrett--the press reported what they saw. Saying to reporters that "Jarrett needs to get in and watch film..." would be handling it through the press.
