I agree with #'s 1, 2, 4, and 5. But personally, no way would I rank our running game woes three spots above poor QB play. No freaking way.

The only thing Harrington has over Carr right now is throwing motion. Carr has a stronger arm, a better history (although admittedly not much better), and IMO, more potential IF he can get his confidence back and get his throwing motion at least back to what it was in college.

That being said, it's like arguing over which dog turd has the least mold on it. :ack2:

Again, nearly half of our rushing yardage for the season came in two games against St. Louis and Atlanta. Aside from those games, how often have we been able to run consistently?

It can be hard to "undo" a throwing motion. Poor comparison, but when I was much, much younger and playing little league I goofed around pitching like Dan Quisenberry, a Royals reliever with a ridiculous sidearm delivery. It was almost underhanded. From the moment I started doing that, I could never seem to regain my "normal" over the top delivery, whether it be pitching or just throwing around the diamond.

You claimed that I started it with you, which was incorrect. I did not bring up your name, you chose to get involved, so you shouldn't whine about the consequences. Obviously you don't expect to not be called a liar when you lie about what I say, so it's pretty clear that you're intentionally drawing that reaction so you can whine about it and pretend to be taking the high road.
Responding to the topic didn't involve accusing me of saying things that I didn't, or that I'd changed my opinion. You were trolling when you did that, and you got what you wanted, so I don't know why you're whining about it.

Oh, don't get me wrong -- I'm not saying our running game isn't screwed up and in dire need of attention. I'm just saying that when a 42-year-old retiree comes in with less than two weeks with the team and outplays every other active QB on the roster by a huge margin, it's more than a concern. It's a three alarm fire.

You would know much better than I would. I've only been able to see one game. The rest I've had to listen to on the radio.

for one, there aren't consequences. Two, I didn't directly involve you, you had an issue with something I said. So the ideal that I was bothering you, no not so much.
    Three, this is really dumb.

Nope. Granted, the big variable there is that you're the one who decides who and what's a liar, coward, and so on, for your own purposes that directly involve the "internet combat" or however you've termed it, that you think this is. You obviously try to incite people and I'm not surprised you'd try to turn that on me rather than answer it.

Was pointing out an inconsistency, of which you've really not cleared up. It doesn't bother me that you continually get personal, I just don't believe it helps you. It's clear that there's a point in the discussion that you get fed up and things get personal, because I'd rather actually discuss this stuff than dickwag.
Which was my point in bringing it up.

short answer-we haven't run the ball for shit.

EDIT: I just looked up some of the stats and basically we seem to get by with 3 yard gains and then break some longer (10+) to balance out the stats, its really pretty bad especially since one of the things we heard about from davidson was how we would improve the running game.
