Fine. The number of blacks who participate in dog fighting is far, far larger than the number of whites who burn crosses.

It's not just Vick, though. As T.O. and other black athletes have said, dog fighting is common in the black community. That's why they didn't think it was a big deal.

Not just because you disagreed with me, no. You have your head in the sand because you want to deny reality and pretend that people of every race are all the same. None of them act any differently, and no race has any particular characteristics associated with them.

And this is why you need to shut your mouth, because you are expressing certainty about something while admitting elsewhere that you know absolutely nothing about it. As I've pointed out, any number of comments and columns back me up on my contention that dog fighting is not at all unusual in the black community. It is not just a small number, and it is not as rare as among other races.

What kind of idiot are you? How can you admit in one sentence that you know nothing about the subject and then in the very next sentence attempt to define the nature of that subject? Do you have any idea how stupid you sound when you do that? Good lord. It is a cultural thing, dumbass. There is nothing genetic about black people that makes them predisposed to engage in dog fighting, it's simply a part of that subculture in America.

You are just downright awful at insults, so please don't attempt any more. I understand why you're pissed, I do. You wanted to have other people applaud you for being so enlightened to think that race is really meaningless and has nothing to do with this case, only to exposed as an idiot who is babbling without the slightest clue as to the reality of the situation. If I were that dumb and had made comments that ignorant, I'd probably be pretty pissed too.

 

I think black people are backing Michael Vick simply because he is a major black sports star. I guess it's a culture thing that I don't get because if Tom Brady does the same crime I don't care if he's white he should pay the same penalty as Michael Vick would. I'll never understand some blacks blinding support for other famous black athletes and continue to ignore the facts. He's really looked like a dumbass with all the stuff coming out today.

I'll agree that it may be more prominant in one community then another, but it does exist in the white community. In two specials I saw about dog fightiing, including one about the whole Vick issue, the people involved who were willing to be interviewed with faces blurred out were all white. And the one who was a former dog fighter who showed his face was white. But I'm not trying to argue the whole is it a white thing or black thing more so I'm saying to ME, it's a cruelty thing. I'm not even more down on the situation because it's a QB of an opposing team. Dog fighting is just cruel whether dogs fight in nature or not. Of course I think paying to watch men box is pretty stupid too.

Vick is his own worst enemy. I'd really have to question the upbringing of this family since both sons are constantly breaking the law and seem to believe there are no repercussions for their actions. Maybe Mom worked all the time, but my mom did too (single parent family) and we had rules etc. In a way I do fee sorry for Vick, more because he just seems to not a have a clue in the world even NOW.

Vick is an idiot and deserves whatever punishment he gets. Most people, including most black people, know this. A small minority of vocal blacks makes it appear that all black people blindly support Vick. This is not true and unfortunate because it makes racial tensions worse when whites think blacks will support an idiot like Vick bases solely on his skin color.

 

The getting stoned after being indicted was a nice touch, Mike.
