    With the TW phone, you have 4-5 hours of battery backup when the power goes out. With Vonage you are just SOL.

    Also, with TW you are supposed to be able to use it through all of the regular phone jacks in the house... although the dumbass technician couldn't get it working that way at my house.

    Not sure about the fax line.

    We have cordless in the house but also a spare old school phone in case the power goes out. Don't ever question my ability as a father.
