    The only thing that I saw that kinda stood out from everything was that we still were very poor at 3rd down % overall. However I feel alot better now about this team then I did last preseason game. Bring on the Texans!

    we finished 7/16 - 43% on 3rd down, which is improvement.

    not being able to predict the play calling on offense was nice

    We had a stretch where we were pretty bad on third downs, but that was just because we kept putting ourselves in third and longs. Once we stopped doing that, we converted.

    well, we were far from perfect...missed fg, big return, 2 lost fumbles, smith had some drops, 3rd downs, false starts, pass int calls, etc...but it's great to see how we went from 13-7 to 27-13 with the team stepping it up and not getting down on themselves, and then putting the game away

    I know it's only the first game but Davidson's play calling looked a hell of alot more exciting than Henning's.
