    We're all talking about that here, but everything I hear/read in the media is that we're a playoff pick, and that if we miss them, Fox/Hurney are done.

    Even John Madden has low expectations for us: (from Charlotte.com)

    John Madden doesn't see good things for the Panthers. Asked whether Carolina is the team that reached two NFC Championship Games in three years or the one that was 8-8 last season, Madden's voice dipped low.

    We certainly have a chance in the NFC, but it may take time for the offense to gel and the defense seems to have some weaknesses. And Madden saw us against New England, so his opinion is justified.
