Is gambling means for automatic lifetime suspension? I bet everyone is shitting themselves if so.

gambling on illegal activities is. Even though the gambling part is worse, it almost is better if they are at least betting on the dogs instead of letting them kill each other for fun.

Its not just gambling, its his creating a gambling ring, that would cause the lifetime suspension.

I hadn't heard that he created it. Is that in the indictment?

I'm not sure if its in the current indictment or one of the upcoming charges if he doesn't plea. I do know one of the things he's looking to face is creating an interstate gambling ring that has ties in Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, Arizona, and possibly more.

maybe vick didn't personally kill any dogs or gamble intimately with his money (meaning he didn't set up a bet and pay/receive in person), or actually 'set up' a gambling ring.

But I would at the very least imagine he funded it, and it was ultimately his cash that changed hands in gambling and keeping the dogs up, by proxy.

As WYDD said, it doesn't take something as extensive as setting up a ring. All it takes is being involved in illegal gambling. The guys with crooked noses who want to rig game outcomes don't live in Vegas.

Magnus, you should merge this with the other Vick thread(s).

I don't think he is being accused of creating an an illegal interstate commerce ring, just participating in it.

If they have solid evidence and witnesses ready to present to this latest Grand Jury (and I don't believe they're bluffing), there's no need to cave in and let Vick off with a lightweight plea.

Yeah, they have multiple witnesses saying that Vick participated in the killing of dogs, and numerous ones saying he was involved with gambling on the fights. Supposedly he's the one who usually handled the payouts.
