I think we got problems here.

Other than smitty, there are 3 receivers who played in 2006. They combined for 36 catches.

That's fucked. And Jarrett isn't looking like much.

A little too early to pass judgement on Jarrett. He's going to be a good 3rd down option and a redzone threat, and hopefully he'll do enough to overtake Colbert.

We're pretty much back where we were in '05, except we're not wheeling out 72-year-old Stephen Davis every Sunday. We're better at RB, I expect our running game to be strong, and that should open up more opportunities for the WRs.

I agree. I don't have any confidence in Carter or Colbert and the jury is still out on Jarrett.

The jury is still out on Biddle, and to a lesser extent on Horn too. I don't have any confidence in our 4th year WRs either, except for a catch here or there.

first half of the season, our RBs might be ahead of our 2nd/3rd WRs for receptions

That's not a bad thing, if they step up...somebody has too, it can't be the Steve Smith Show. Somebody has to be the "straight guy".

Not saying Smith is gay, in reference to comedy.

    yep.
I can see their point, after the draft it was hard to tell who could fit in spots 3 and 4, and 5 was already taken by Robinson; it was still dumb.

that'll be nice, regardless. The problem is, even with outlet receivers, we still need a guy to step up on 3rd down.
