    Martin is a professional. His job is to analyze situations like this and read them objectively. I have no idea who he is as an individual, but I find it hard to believe that he could become a prominent attorney if he's the type to recklessly gamble against long odds.


    Also, given that the other plea deals have involved terms of 18 months, it seems very unlikely that Vick would get offered anything less than two years.

    Everyone is guessing one year-18months. However I could see a full 2. Whole lot better than 15-25- or more under RICO statutes.

    Reading that, I thought I was in the Poker forum....

    I do agree, Collin, that if Martin is gonna roll the dice against 7 witnesses that are all linking Vick to active participation in this, he is gonna go bust--and his client is headin to the clink.

    Leonard Little killed a woman drunk driving and got 90 days in jail and an 8 game suspension. hes still on the Rams today.

    I don't think you'll find too many people who argue against the idea that DUI sentences should be much more harsh.
