    Acer is junk. If you want one that cheap then I have had good luck with eMachines.

    Acer is junk. my neice has one. i don't know what she's done to it but it's piece of crap.

    Desktop - build your own.

    Laptop - Toshiba or Sony, never heard anyone complain about either, yet.
    The Compaq's I bought my girls were garbage. Just bought the wife a Toshiba that does everything except give good head. I hate the Vista and Mcafee that came with it but love the computer.
