    I remember when Steve Smith did the paddling the boat routine when we played Minnesota. Can you imagine what could be come up with if it didn't draw a 15 yard penalty? I wonder when the Bang Brothers (?) come up with a new movie for this. The Aqua Fina one was hilarious

    I can't remember - did the Panthers suspend Carruth without pay? I want to say that they paid him until he was convicted.

    The behavior clause would allow them to keep his rights until the legal matter is resolved. I have no idea what the NFL rules are on being paid while suspended. Whatever they are, they are covered by the CBA, which also gives the commish the authority to boot his ass out of the league.

    But if the team wants out, it appears that they can flat out terminate the contract for the morality clause. It looks pretty cut and dry, the usual cacophony of mouthpieces aside.

    Guess the question is which way they'll go.
