    I just switched from cingular b/c it sucked in my house. I'll never get one, even if it was free, if it stays exclusive to cingular / AT&T.

    Not in my house. Not in my driveway.

    Believe me - 4 different phones. I pay more for verizon and switching the account ( 5 or 6 phones ) was a major hassle. However, verizon actually works inside my home. Amazing.

    iphone looks cool, way cooler than my blackberry. and what's a couple hundred extra for super cool? I lease a new BMW for fuck's sake.

    But it's not cool if I have to run outside to talk, or lose a call when i pull into my driveway. guesthouse? forget it.

    yup I'm a Verizon person myself for the same reason. I'd honestly probably buy an iPhone in a few years if it were with Verizon, but not 1st generation or with Cingular/AT&T.

    Give me a call when they make one you can drop on the sidewalk, carry in your pocket with keys and change, or drop it into a pool (done this), without destroying it. I want a rugged phone. Years overdue if you ask me.
