    OK, let's dumb this down.

If it's pre-determined, say at practice as the original post suggested, that the snap count will always be on 1 (as Bowden & perhaps Henning did), wouldn't a reasonable person know that it's not necessary to send in the snap count from the sideline or booth, or for the QB to determine what number to say?

Unintentional comedy is the best kind.

I realize that it's difficult for you to follow along, but I'm not suggesting that NFL teams should have the QB call the snap count. I'm saying that they do, that they always have, and that they probably always will. Yasinskas said something stupid for whatever reason, and then HeadAche pontificated in ignorance.

thanks for the dodge. My post was in response to you dismissing some one because he's a HS coach and not about snapping the ball on a one count. Once again I'll ask what is your coaching resume-where have you coached a single down of football? It's really a simple question why do you want to avoid answering it? Pop Warner? Jr High? HS? Jr College? College? Intramurals?

    If that were true? yes.

I don't know if it is, but yeah, if that were a tenet of the offense, there'd be no reason for the QB to specify a snap count and no reason for the OC to call one.

Good lord, you are unconscionably stupid. I was trying to explain to you why him being only a youth coach was relevant. My only coaching experience is at the intramural level, which is basically the same as none. The thing you are obviously too slow to understand is that I'm not saying what the NFL teams should be doing in terms of their snap counts, therefore my lack of coaching experience is completely irrelevant. For me to say what NFL teams should be doing, I'd either need some credible experience or a damn good argument.

Do you get that or do I need to rephrase it in monosyllabic words? This guy's experience level or lack thereof is relevant because he's trying to say what other teams should do in terms of their snap counts. I am not. I am pointing out the facts about the way snap counts are currently handled.

Look, I understand that you and so many others have a desire to argue with me because you resent my condescension, but there are better ways of dealing with that than by highlighting your own stupidity and inability to comprehend basic concepts.

I usually just read these posts for the entertainment value without reply. I am chuckling right now though because you guys have got Collin owned on this one. He's pulling the ole trick of saying that you guys misunderstood what he originally said when it's pretty obvious that he was attempting to dis the writer of the article. Funny as crap! Let him have it!

pretty much confirms what most of us have thought. You do stare at yourself in the mirror while whacking off.

The reason you presumably don't post is the same reason you think I'm "owned." It's because you're an idiot. Yaskinskas' article was full of shit because Henning did not call the snap counts in from the sidelines. No NFL coordinator does. Are you honestly too stupid to understand that?
