    #1) It's not an "article," it's a web page.

#2) It's written by a youth football coach.

#3) It's irrelevant to the discussion.

#4) The more you post, the more ridiculous you look. So keep posting.

Maybe the Observer should hire Pacman Jones, since he has played football at all levels, and since he might be looking for a job soon.

    T. Reed’s Football Think Tank

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    About the Web master
John T. Reed has coached 35 athletic teams in four sports. He has coached 15 football teams, including nine youth teams when his kids played at that level, and six high school teams.

Reed has also written 11 football coaching books, a column in American Football Quarterly Magazine (now American Football Monthly), articles in Gridiron Coach, National Alliance for Youth Sports magazine, and Scholastic Coach Magazine. Reed has presented coaching clinics around the U.S. including at the two American Football Quarterly Universities and at a special NCAA clinic for select minority major college coordinators who were believed to be on the verge of becoming major college head coaches.

Reed’s book Football Clock Management has been purchased and used by coaches at all levels including the NFL and major colleges. His other books pertain to youth sports which is the largest market for coaching books.

Reed is a West Point graduate and a Harvard MBA. In the military, he was a paratrooper and ranger and was a platoon leader in the 82nd Airborne Division, a platoon leader in Vietnam, and a stateside company comander.

Overall, he has written 63 books and over 4,000 articles on the subjects of coaching, real estate investment, succeeding, and self-publishing. See his overall home page at www.johntreed.com.

Reed is a member of the American Football Coaches Association, The California Coaches Association, the National Federation of High School Coaches Association, the Football Writers Assocition of America, the Professional Football Researchers Association, and the Investigative Reporters and Editors Association.

    vs

a narcissistic paranoid delusional fantasy football author who has been wrong time and time and time again on this board and whose major contributions are 40 page threads insulting everyone as a defense to any hint that he could possibly be occasionally wrong and splitting hairs over the meaning of words and phrases? really now, does your dilusionment know any bounds. i never agreed or disagreed with anyone in this thread. i simply posted what i thought a plausible explanation for what minter and rucker stated. since you were unable to understand my post, i thought (obviously wrong) that the view of a west point grad and a Harvard MBA might be more readable and without needing translation. whether you accept it or not (although i find it somewhat amazing to not at least consider it seeing how conservative as well as mistake and risk intolerant Henning's offense seem to be), his view has some merit to the discussion and certainly more than you simply calling everyone and his brother ridiculous. if i had to simply accept one view of the other i'd accept his (actually I'd accept a peewee coach's) before you as, besides being consistently wrong on this board, you have posted nothing of merit or substance in this thread. your lone contribution that the snap count did not come from the sideline in responses to Yaz's article was stupid as Yaz never contended it did. as normal, you jumped to a wrong conclusion in your haste to discredit another writer and to reinforce your delusions. seriously, and i mean this with all sincerity and sympathy, seek out some professional help. now please, piss off.

Like I said, he's a youth football coach. Your problem, HeadAche, is that your emotions outstrip your intellect. Now that wouldn't be hard to begin with, but you let your hatred of me lead you to humiliate yourself with stupendously idiotic statements.

For instance, in this thread you've babbled on and on about maybe Henning always snapping on one to reduce mistakes when several people already pointed out that coaches don't call in the snap count. It's no surprise that you were too ignorant to know that, but the hilarious part is that you lacked the basic intelligence to process that information and stop yourself from posting something that showed your ignorance.

I'm fine with you calling me narcissistic or otherwise trying to bring me down so you feel less like the inbred hillbilly that you are, but please stop posting in large blocks of text and please stop posting things that are entirely idiotic. No one expects you to have my level of knowledge, but it would be nice if you could exert the minimum amount of effort necessary not to make a complete fool out of yourself on every other post.

    Edit:
Good lord, man. You "speak" English like a mush-brained illegal immigrant on quaaludes.
