    Latest word is they've called in a "forensic veterinarian" with experience in dogfighting and animal cruelty investigations.

    Oddly enough, she's from the Atlanta area: Local veterinarian assists Vick probe

    I heard that vet on NPR one afternoon talking about the case mentioned with the puppy. She knows her stuff and is VERY good at explaining things.

    Jonathan Vilma chimed in on this. Said he didn't see that big a difference between dogfighting and horse racing.

    Upon hearing the comments, coach Eric Mangini said that he and Vilma would "talk".
