    Panthers GM Marty Hurney said the absence wasn't fully expected, but they didn't seem particularly shocked by it either.
    Jenkins is not expected to show up for any of the typically three-week session, but Panthers coach John Fox did say he was operating under the assumption Jenkins would report to training camp.
    The shape he'd be in when that happens remains to be seen, as he rolled in here in the 380-pound neighborhood a month ago for minicamp.

    Fine his fat ass. We did that with Brun, why not Jenkins.

    After thinking about it, maybe I should clarify---fine his fat ass at TC in July if he shows up at 400 lbs.

    I think they usually fine during regular season weigh ins, but yeah as I understood 'brun wasn't anymore than 10 pounds over (he claimed only 1 or 2) with jenkins hes 50 pounds over, which is a little harder to lose (I's think D-linemen/O linemen would get more leeway to start) but yeah they should do something unfortunately they seem worried about hurting his feelings (especially now).

    I agree with this. Rosenhaus is fucking with possible team chemistry in wanting to squeeze ever dollor out he can for his client. That pisses me off. He can go fuck up the Cowboys and Eagles some more if he wants to. Leave the Panthers out. Even if the Panthers DO want to trade Jenkins he hurt them. Now they'd have to take less money because other teams will view it as he won't be there so just wait till he's cut.

    I'm still glad Jenkins wasn't traded for a 3rd round pick, but this is dissapointing. He's fucking with team chemistry now. I don't like Rosenhous either, but you can't blame him for what Jenkins does or doesn't do. Ultimately, Jenkins is playing for his next contract, whether that will be with the Panthers or not shouldn't matter right now.
