    i think the penalty did not fit the crime..
    it was still unaproved equipment..
    i hope they win the appeal...

    points penalty is sufficient--not too harsh.

    6 weeks, $100K--a bit over the top. 4 races, $50K woulda been good by me, but NASCAR says (and Kenseth confirmed) the teams were warned about alterations made to ANY C-O-T parts would result in 6 races/100 points. $100K penalties.

    I dunno what that has to do with anything...but according to him, a bulletin was posted for all the teams to see regarding such a situation.
