Fine, but i'll insist on adding that Monday night W against an undependable rook QB blinded by the prime time lights since TB will have much more reliable depth at QB this season.
That would be 3-3 vs. our division . . . hardly stellar. As you yourself admit, “poor safety play is what cost us a few games last year (and could have easily cost us a few more) and we certainly haven't improved”
That very same weak link could easily cost us just as dearly (and more) this year . . . so it's hard for me to accept the complacency with our current safety situation.

    I wouldn't. Gibson's dumber than dirt.

I'm thinking a Carolina blue Kool-Aid pitcher...

You're making it too complicated. You don't turn wins into losses just because the other team had injuries. We had our share of those, as well, and most teams do. Oh, and Gradkowski was actually playing fairly leading up to that game, so it's not as though we were up against Fasani.

    Tony Parrish

He's out there and has been solid. Any thoughts on bringing him in?

Parrish was a quality safety about three years ago, but ever since he got injured in SF, he hasn't been the same. Probably wouldn't be noticeably better than any of the other long-in-the-tooth vets we've been talking about, and likely worse than most.

I thought all our losses were Jake's fault and now that we have Carr, the greatest QB on the planet, we're set to be undefeated?:beatnik2:
