I dont disagree with you. I dont think Carr is our savior, I guess I just want to see the best guy on the field come Sunday, and I think its Carr. Of course, Im basing a large part of that opinion on last year, so maybe Jake doesnt repeat the crap he did last year, and we win the whole damn thing.

I always thought Delhomme's reputation was that he was much more of a gamer then a polished practice guy. In other words, his play in games superceded his play on the practice field in the eyes of his coaches.

Why would you want to see Carr on the field when Jake is the only QB on the team that has proven himself in the play offs? He didn't really have as bad of a season last year as people are making it out to be either. If the Panthers would have been able to run the ball, he wouldn't have had to throw it 80% of the time when they got in the redzone and those INT's that ended games would have never happened. Our running backs, FB and WR's combined for 7 rushing TD's last year compared to Stephen Davis's 12 the year before, and he didn't even finish the season. That's your difference between 11-5 and 8-8.

Regardless of why we sucked, when I compare the numbers, which Ive posted for everyones viewing pleasure, I think Carr is better.

You cant say "Jake didnt have a running game" and not say "Carr was getting knocked silly every play". And Im not saying that youre saying that, Im just trying to elaborate.

It's not golf. More TDs, more wins, more yards = better.

You should just say 'anybody but Jake'.
