Is Wharton still hurt since Butler started at LT?? Really that would make the most sense as to WHY. You slot Butler in Wharton's slot so Gross can concerntrate on playing the Right.

    Yes, yes, and yes.

Wharton, Rucker, Carstens, Lucas, and someone else were dressed but not participating.

Fair enough then, but Butler's not one of our best five either way, and I was talking about opening day. Where they play right now doesn't matter as much to me, if that's not their September plan. If and when Wahle's healthy, he's going to be awfully hard to beat.

And either way, the point was that we have plenty of guards and two tenuous tackles, one project, and then Bridges. Who isn't as good a guard as Hartwig or Wahle, and is a much better tackle than guys who haven't ever played tackle or got moved to guard because they blew at tackle.

I don't believe anyone will be given anything. I think right now Mathis is the odd man out of anyone who actually won a job, because I don't think he's a better lineman than Hartwig. Hartwig I believe to be a better guard than Kalil.

where was Shaw in all this?

weird they still have Anderson backing SLB. They've stuck to that, for some fucking reason. He's not the type player Davis is. That shit doesn't just work out with any player. I'd rather Seward be out there.

I like Beason weakside, glad to see he's out there. No way he doesn't beat Diggs or Anderson.
