Petty and Pearson got to race 3 or 4 times a week. They would never have the numbers if they raced today. Richard Petty raced in over 1100 Nascar sanctioned races.

I root for Gordon because the rednecks hate him. Same reason I root AGAINST Jr.

Honestly? I don't care who wins.

And with the points system, just so your driver does well, who cares.

its not just that they are Jr fans, you have to factor in they were in Talladega. I thought it was funny, actually I wanted 24 to win because I knew it was coming. Gordon didnt get near the can shower he received there a couple of years ago. and Gordon was eating it up. I bet he was laughing his ass off inside the car.

as far as banning coolers at the track, that might be suicide for nascar. true you would have more beer sales, but how many people would boycott because of no coolers? I dont think I would ever go to another one if thats the case.

and it was mostly shitty miller light flying on the track....

i think we're overlooking the fact that the race was in alabama. i mean, they just had 92,000 people attend a spring football practice game.

I wanted to throw a beer at the tv because of the caution, G-W-C. A toyota fuckin up what would have been a good ending. thats two wins for the 24 under a caution at the Dega.
