Plus I have a 77 jersey, don't want to have to mothball it.

Trade his ass for a Safety if he doesn't want to shape up.... I'd much rather have him IF he wants to do what he's supposed to do but I think we could find that safety everyones looking for if not.

"As long as he's convinced he's still in the team's plans, Jenkins will take part in this weekend's minicamp, the source said"

what is this fat fucks problem? they didnt give him away for nothing so I would say hes in the plans. wow. now Fox has to sweet talk this walking buffet into working out for 175k. something he supposedly is doing on his own....

Hasn't Jenkins always got out of shape during the offseason? He has always been able to get ( this part is subjective) in shape by the start of the season. He is getting older and that isn't going to be as easy anymore..Could be a ploy....

I bet Jenks is pushing 400.

Last year, Jenks pet my dog and asked how much he weighed, and all I could say was 'not as much as you'!

He's a beast. I hope it works out and he retires a Panther - in several years.

Um no last year he wasn't "in shape" for the season.

thats what is frustrating. "in shape" meant he lasted one season , not that he was actually in shape. dude is only 28, he should be in his prime. I was hoping since he lasted all of last year he would come in hungry(bad choice of words) ready to live up to his potential as the all-world tackle people have been calling him.

Obviously, he doesn't give a shit. Thinking that 175k is nothing but chump change to him says a lot. Hell, if I was a guy and played in the NFL, I'd be all over that money and my ass would be in the gym (or at least the stadium weight room) staying in shape.
