I am defending the pick and I hope he is happy here. He didnt seem to be at first, but I was just pointing out reasons why he might not be. Like we said, the only problem that has come up with Jarrett is his attitude.

Point taken. He is from New Jersey and maybe he does prefer to be on the East Coast closer to his family instead of in Cal. where at one time he shared an apartment with Matt Leinert. I am not sure of his preference, but maybe you know something I don't.

I just thought he was disappointed he didnt go higher, not where he went. They showed a pic of him talking on the phone right before they went to commercial for just a second, while we were on the clock, and he was smiling.

Agree will all of the above. Didn't most see Jarrett as no worse than the 3rd best WR prospect in this draft class? Granted, it's not the strongest WR class but the guy looks like a starting caliber pro WR from all I have seen and heard.

System quarterback is a common term, system WRs...Hawaii QB's generally kick ass statistically, but none have done much if anything as pros, just sayin. Houston would be another example, Penn State RB's:dots:
I hope he does do well, but history isn't exactly on his side. Colbert and Williams were both studs at USC, Colbert was the record holder before Jarret...Colbert is now a turd.
Where they go to school doesn't automatically determine shit, but history can be an indicator of the future.

    Eh.....dunno about all that.

Just b/c he was a USC wideout doesn't mean we need to equate him to past turds.

Time always tells. If he fails, it won't be b/c he was a WO at USC. It will be b/c he can't play WO in the NFL

I see the ocean every day if I want to (corn, teethbrush, sexy cousin notwithstanding).

Anyhow, I tend to agree with Linda. He wasn't happy with dropping out of the money round. If he has any pride at all he'll be okay once he joins the team. I think the potential downside is more likely to come after he proves himself (kinda like MeShawn), or if he actually can't play because he went to the same school as Colbert.

I'm sure the Colts are glad they picked Peyton, even though Heath Shuler sucked.

I'm sure the Cheifs are happy with a certain Penn State RB on their roster.

And Colbert may suck, but there's another USC grad that DJ can look up to.

And your hatred of Florida schools is beyond rational thought.
