These just aren't positions that the team values very highly. At all. That should be pretty apparent.

Really, this says more about some of our past draft failures than anything. Colbert, Mathis, if these guys were better, we wouldn't have made these moves.

Davidson is gonna move some guys out, Hang's probably one of them. Swapping him out for Kalil makes us a lot better.

I'm not sweating TE but we need a S.

edit: on second thought, if we see Hang as a G it could be Mathis and or Montgomery sent packing.

    That's because you're clueless.
    That's because you're relentlessly pessimistic.

TE Patrick's still on the board. Maybe he'll be one of our #5 picks. :dots:

It's conceivable that we can get both Ben Patrick and Michael Johnson in the fifth. Both need picks that could be better than their draft placement would indicate.

There is still some talent out there in FA. Terrence Kiel is decent, but his trouble with the law will probably keep us from considering him. I would be okay with Tank Williams if he could stay healthy. There are some vets. Knight, Schulters, Parrish. Probably at the end of their careers, and if we were going to older route we might as well re-sign S. Williams.

and Erron Kinney's name has been mentioned. I never really considered it, but he would be a nice fit here. Not flashy but a decent enough blocker. our type of TE.
