    He's a solid enough value, the problem is that he was about the last thing we actually needed.

    No, we can't. They're all gone, although I'm not sure what we could have done about that except trade down again from #25 for Weddle. The safeties went much earlier than we were prepared for, and so we got screwed. Hurney should have made more of an effort to get a veteran so that everything wouldn't depend on one falling to us.

    Of the safeties left on the board, all of them were a reach at that pick. So going in another direction at that spot wasnt unexpected.
