    Sounds like they did tell him not to make waves. But damn, if he's in such great shape and hasn't bitched about his contract (plus isn't getting arrested), why are we trading him?

    edit: even if we get a second it's liable to be like trading him for a Nelson, Colbert or Shelton as it is a Marshall.

    look at the value of the picks the Chiefs are offering. Per GBN the 23rd is worth 760 pts and the 54th is worth 360 pts, 1120 pts total while our pick at 14 is valued at 1100. You'd basically be assigning a 20 pt value to Jenkins making him worth slightly better than our 6th rounder. Ouch.

    Actually, my source called me last night to point out that I misread the email, Our #14 and their 1st and 2nd are things that were being discussed as possibly being part of a deal that could send Jenkins to KC, it wasn't that we were trading the #14 + Jenkins for their 1 and 2.

    oops, my bad!
