Do you seriously think the Panthers signed Carr to be a back-up? Does Delhomo pay you guys to suck his cock? He sucks, Weinke sucks more, Carr is going to be the #1 QB, get over it.

Actually yes I do. I do however feel Jake's leash just got a lot shorter.

Total Access has also been hammering the idea that the league is going to suspend Adam Jones for an entire season, when the only impressions the Commissioner has given seem to indicate he may not suspend the 'misfortunate' yet repentant Titan at all. Gotta love the sensationalism...

easy to say.......hard to follow through on.......70K fans are going to have alot of influence on this decision.

Carr wasn't brought here to be a back up. He will be the #1 if not this year, next. Delhomme is not an idiot either, this is a direct threat to the starting QB position. Harrington was not nearly as big of a threat as Carr.

I'm cool with it, but I think Delhomme's days are numbered.

I'd say Jake may want to reconsider any more of those dying swans like he tossed up in the Redskins game. Maybe he will do a better job with a little heat on his ass to perform..

Jake is the starter and he will be unless he gets hurt. Nothing to see here.

That's what they say. But there now is exactly ONE QB on the roster that the current OC was involved in selecting, and that ain't Jake.

I don't have a problem with those that want to think Carr is a great QB just because they want to.....but I'd sure like to see some argument as to why. Delhome exceeds Carr in: Leadership, QB Rating, 4th Quarter Comebacks, less fumbles, less interceptions, better TD to INT ratio, Pro Bowl appearances, Super Bowl appearances, Conference Championship games, post season win/loss record.....about the only areas Carr seems to exceed Jake is that he's younger, runs better, and is marginally more accurate. So that's why he will soon be the starter, because he's younger and runs better?

For those that don't like Jake's interceptions, Carr has 65 of them to Jake's 62. Carr has bee tackled 249 times to Jake's 112 times. If you want to believe that Carr just played on a suck ass team.....well maybe you should go back and look at the Panthers because we were basically a suck-ass team from the 1996 NFC Championship game until the Fox/Hurney regime took over and moved us from NFL laughing stock to NFL perenial playoff contender. Just my thoughts, but please.....if you want to suggest Carr's in and Jake's on the way out I'd enjoy reading some basis for that thought because I don't see it. Heck, if Carr would have had the same year as Jake in 2006 it would have been one of his best ever. Maybe Carr still has "potential", but he sure has not shown he's in the same league as Jake in terms of performance.
