They also passed up Reggie Bush and took a player they could have gotten with the 10th pick, so I guess what Im trying to say is I dont get your point.

The point is that you don't cut your starting QB and take a chance on an unproven back up QB for no reason, I don't care who is running the team or how they drafted last year. To say he's gonna come here and take Delhomme's job after that just happened to the guy is just crazy IMO.

Oh. How quick some of us turn on a pro bowl QB who has lit it up in the Superbowl against the mighty Pats. You go by what the players have done on the field, not their potential.

I do like Carr better than Harrington but don't act like Carr's the next big thing. There must be a reason only us and Seattle are showing strong interest. I keep on remembering an article where the reporter was at a Texans practice and Carr threw a ball into horrible coverage. The coach proceeded to ream him telling him there is now way Carr could be in the NFL for this long and make that throw. I keep hearing he's got no leadership ability and terrible instincts. Two things Jake is chop full of.

Granted, I'm hoping a change of scenery will help out but I've also read that Carr wants to be a backup for a while. Probably to get over getting creamed every week while with the Texans.

Jake's carreer passer rating is 8.5 points higher. That's fairly significant.

Jake also has less sacks because he, for better or worse, will take fewer.

Jake comes out struggling again, he'll be replaced.

Quick? Most folks who cite what players have done on the field don't need to go back 4 years.

2003 was statistically Jake's worst year.
