    Ummmmmmm, what did Brooklyn Tony say that pissed him off so much that he got banned today for the rest of the year from calling Primetime? I heard the vote to ban him was almost 700+ to 22 (?) or something like that. Tony was on during the 5pm hour to plead his case, but Packman ended up giving him the boot.

    Agreed. It was pretty silly and a huge waste of time. Packer wastes a lot of time with stuff that I seriously doubt any listener cares about.

    He's got the #1 Sportstalk Show between Atlanta & DC . . . . He's the Big Dog of Sportstalk in the Southeast. He's pulling in $200k (and probably more from his outside stuff; SOUTHERN FRIED FOOTBALL i.e.). He's got a big ass house in Myers Park. And he's got the World Famous Harley Dog. Hey, no wonder why he can talk shit; Packman is the King of All (Local) Media!!!!

    the show is hard to take. i try to listen every now and then but always end up turning the station and staying away for weeks before tuning in again. the fact that he touts a number one rating in the southeast say's alot about the state of sports talk radio in the region. its really sad. i'd much rather listen to a broadcast of an ACTUAL NCAA tournament game featuring local schools, like Winthrop and whoever,hell, any game for that matter, during the tournament than his putrid cast of dumbasses. but hell no, we here in the greater Charlotte area must tune into some AM station 300 miles away and try to listen to a garbled Westwood One airing. the more i consider this horse shit the more im inclined to get the satellite radio deal and forget these losers altogether.

    Packer claims the #1 show in the Southeast? I thought the 2 Live Stews out of Atlanta's 790 the Zone were larger... There was even a big article about them in Sports Illustrated a couple of years ago.
