I forgot he turned 34 this year. I also forget that he's been here since '97, so I guess this shouldn't be too suprising.

Graham will be out of our price range. He would be very good for us, but I'd expect us to look for a cheaper, Mangum-like player. I don't think it will be a substantial upgrade, maybe somebody like Reggie Kelly. We could take a shot at David Martin from Green Bay, if the team is looking for a receiving TE, although he'll probably make a pretty decent payday himself.

I don't believe we'll draft anybody within the 1st two rounds. I'm sure we could find a decent TE for our system in the later rounds, which is what we've done in the past.

I was thinking about that. Can't think of anyone else. Playing 10 years with one team and retiring on your own terms, that's pretty impressive.

Randy Fasani player his whole career here.:bclown:

Hoover's well on his way toward doing that. I don't know how many more years he has in him, either.

I thought he got picked up by New England or someone up north and then cut. I'm not saying he played a game, but I'm pretty sure he was picked up short term.

weren't Mangum and Hoover close? This might actually speed up Hoover's decision making process. Not saying he's gone this year or next, but having one of your closer friends retire that's not too far apart age wise has to influence you some.
