Since some of you poor souls don't have NFL Net to watch, nfl.com will have results and measurements of the participants. Here's the link: http://www.nfl.com/combine

Oh, the combine starts at 2pm today (2/22), so results will probably be posted some time after that time. Late afternoon, maybe?

Neither comparison is too far off. I'm not even sure if Smith was as good as Colbert at USC.

I get wary of anyone who uses comparisons as a major part of how they're stating what they think of a guy. At best, it's confusing - you have one average prospect being compared to a Pro Bowler under another guy being compared to a bust. I imagine calling Quinn a Tom Brady wouldn't give him any more credibility than calling him Harrington, though.

I've made the comparison between Quinn and Harrington on this forum before and still believe it. Harrington was more impressive in college than Quinn for that matter. I could be wrong, and it wouldn't be the first time, but I think Quinn will never be any better than average at best in the NFL..

Carr went number one Peppers number two and Harrington number three. That is enough right there to make me want to never draft a QB really high.

In my mind Matt Lienart was the best QB prospect to come out in many years. Why he was a number ten pick but guys like Tim Couch, Alex Smith and David Carr are number ones is confounding.

3:05 p.m. Dwayne Wright is a running back from Fresno State that compares himself to Frank Gore. "We have a similar running style and he had major knee surgery, too," Wright said. "Him and Willis McGahee have been big inspirations. They faced adversity well. I'm looking to follow in their footsteps." Wright tore his patella tendon two years ago and said every NFL team examined him at least twice. He's received the most interest from the Carolina Panthers; with Coach John Fox and the full offensive staff Thursday night.
