As much as I don't like Ron Mexico, he tries to win games and cares about competing. Randy Moss is a punk.. if the Falcons trade for that POS then they deserve to finish in last place for eternity.

Seems like I heard this about a week ago. Radio or TV talk show stuff, but put nothing past Al Davis.

So Blank would ship off his prized QB AND fire Mora? That seems like shooting yourself in the foot. I can't see both happening, though maybe Mora might quit of his own volition.

If Mora is replaced, Blank needs to get someone in there that does not have preconceived notions about what a QB is. Vick is a hybrid QB/RB and would do well practicing a bit more as a RB and learning to take hits like a RB without getting hurt, to a certain extent. But when he does get hurt, the coach would need to be able to switch gears back to a more traditional style to suit the needs of whatever backup Vick has going forward (if not Schaub).

I would trade Vick for Moss but I would want some extras thrown in to make it more even. Maybe some good draft picks or a good player or two. Moss may be lazy but he does his job very well when motivated. Vick is always going to be a square peg in a round hole.

If Mora is gone I would get a guy who has experience with hybrid QBs. Mularkey did well with Kordell Stewart for a year or two.

If they trade Vick, half of that fan base would be gone...

:agreed: Vicky puts asses in the seats. If he goes, there go ticket sales. Artie would NEVER get rid of Vicky on purpose.

Not much of a chance that Vick leaves Atlanta. The Falcons have him locked up in a long term deal that makes a trade very difficult. The whole Falcon thing is screwed up. The coach is probably gone, the owner is a guy who won't stay off the sidelines, and Michael Vick is the most overrated player in the NFL.
