1:45 to get down to get a FG doesn't seem so bad in theory, but when you leave one timeout on the field, and walk up to the line slowly, we could've taken a shot.

Might not be popular, but going for the FG in that situation was the winning strategy. Maybe if we hadn't wasted so much time we could have gotten another play in, but the way Weinke has been standing, we'd be really lucky to make the play in 7. Hell, probably would have been another sack.

edit: Whoops we had a TO? That was fucking stupid. We should have gotten another play in somewhere. Still, we got points which was very important.

I dont think there's any question taking the 3 was the smart move on the last play - but there could've EASILY been three more plays called on that drive if they would've managed the clock better.

Yeah...so anyways Mathis is terrible, Weinke isnt even a solid backup quarterback. Get rid of the fucking ball. And whats up with when Rucker leaves, we cant stop the run, and we continue to play like a pack of assholes?

I know injuries are killing us, but this is depressgins shit, and this ranks with as low as weve ever been, the way were playing.

I was fully expecting a draw on that drive. We had no urgency and burned :30 on just the second play. Cut that in half on that play and before the FG play, and we have some sort of time to work with. Call a timeout in there, and we've got tons of time.
