My top 2 would have to be Bruce Springsteen and U2. Damn, I've tried. Listened to ton of their stuff. Over and over and over. Thought I HAD to be missing something...never found it.

Also, when it comes to metal...Motorhead. Once again...I see nothing worth liking.

    2 more...

Dave Matthews...hell...I think I bought 4 or 5 CD's and downloaded 5 shows...then I went to see him and fell asleep. Don't see whatever IT is.

Phish. Saw them in San Diego and thought I FINALLY got it. Well...sitting in your living room with a clear head...just not the same.

I've also tried to like black gospel music, but I just can't get into it.

Forgot about the Dead...I read an awesome biography of theirs. Went out and started buying all the CD's in order...have to say...outside of American Beauty and Working Man's Dead, the other stuff wasn't even worth the space it took up in my CD carousel. Sold all of it on Ebay.

Think, like Phish, you have to go to tons of shows and do the appropriate chemicals to get into them. From a pure listening standpoint, it just doesn't work.

Basically any "Jam Bands" or "Heavy Metal", don't like...

    Widespread Panic
    String Cheese Incident
    moe.
    Dave Matthews
    Kiss
    Metallica
Motley Crue, saw them this summer, thought I would like it as much as da' Freak, but just didn't do anything for me but make me want to count mullets.

The Grateful Dead and Phish are extrememly talented musicians, respectively, drugs probably had something to do with it, but even without 'em, still very pleasurable to listen to; purely subjective.
