This is exactly what Im talking about. Either fix him or move on, we cant keep watching him self destruct in pressure situations.

    Good post.

I'm not pissy. You bringing up Rudy deserves a lot more than a "what the fuck?" Seriously. You brought Rudy up as a response to valid criticism of Weinke, who you've abandoned. When you ask about Weinke, I put together thoughts on Weinke, and the best you have to retort is "Rudy", you forfeit the ability to call it valid.

He's had some mistakes. Didn't say he didn't. You're overblowing it, though, especially when you're pasting in Observer stats that aren't all Jake. Let's pretend you didn't call that last INT on Jake, and just look at the Dallas game you pasted. Jake had one INT, and that hurt. Jake didn't even have three turnovers that game, so apparently you're flailing just to flail.

    See analogy, at dictionary.com.

For some reason you see a guy who is not costing the team, I dont know why that is. You go on thinking he is great, I'll digress.

Remind me how a tiny player who got on the field a couple times equates to a current backup QB who won a Heisman.

I didn't say he didn't cost the team. I just didn't blame him for everything.

See, that's the problem with you and a couple of the other irrational Jake bashers. You can't take the fucking gray area. You've gotta take the worst, and then exaggerate it - like pretending there are more turnovers than there actually are (or, more likely, just pasting in some information without knowing what it stands against). There's no way anyone can say anything in defense of the guy without it being overblown either.

So you bash anyone who bashes JD. What do you suggest? I mean clearly he is getting it done.

Im suggesting giving someone else a shot to get the job done, that or somehow train Jake between now and next week not to freak under pressure.

I havent seen a QB panicking behind the line of scrimmage at any level in recent memory like I see JD doing every week. You bring pressure, and JD is going to make mistakes, mistakes that cost us games, repeatedly.

I'm not bashing "anyone". I'm bashing, first off, you pasting something, pointing it at JD, and not knowing what it means. Second, I'm giving you some "WTF" for the Rudy thing.

Better all around play. You're suggesting that QB play is our biggest problem - it's not. Maybe you think that QB play will solve our other problems. It won't.

I guess what Im seeing is a "cause and effect" stemming from our poor play at the QB position. I think there are other problems, but I think a huge one is Jakes play. If Jake was the only problem, we'd be the Bears.
