I'm trapped. Apartment complex provides free cable, so alls I pays is 13 bucks a month for the digital box.

Me, too, and that's costing us $50 a month. And there are only a small handful of channels I'd hate to lose if I cancelled it.

Mike there is good thing about cable one them is you don't lose your signal when it rain or snow. You get Internet that works all time rain or not. And you don't get this thing with Dish. For 108$ a month for digital cable you should get channel that worth watching. I will say this and I believe that it 100% true. Cable would be much better without digital cable. Sure the view is much better on Digital cable then normal cable. But at the some time. Back when there was no digital cable you would only pay 95$ per month and order HBO HBO 1 and 2 and 3 as it was call at the time and cemex and you would pay just 8more $ per month. So at the end you save more money then you lose. I think if this deal doesn’t get done before the start of per season next year. Congress must Pressured TWC and the NFL to
reach a deal .I think at the end the some channel that you get on TWC you should get them on Dish. And some go the other way. Like News14 it should be on DISH. And the NFL network and ESPNU should be on Cable

I think we all know you're not the decision maker at TWC or hold you responsible. Nobody's blaming you.

So conversely it might be best that you not take comments against them personally.

I didn't take anything personally. All I said is I don't understand the complaining when people can switch from cable to dish, and deal with the positives vs. the negatives. That's all.

Having an unattractive alternative doesn't change the fact that cable companies are intentionally screwing their customers, or the fact that their local monopolies are supposed to be illegal.

I can not offer a response to your opinion, as I will not speak on a subject (the monopoly aspect) that I am not familiar with.
