We are at home against a slumping Rams team. We have played them a lot and usually match up pretty well. They are not the same team on grass. The next game is at the foreskins who will not have Portis and be starting a new inexperienced QB. We must win these two games. That would put us at 7-4 going into the tough final five games of the season.

We are at Philly, home for New York and Pittsburgh then at Atlanta and New Orleans. If we get to that stretch at 7-4 then 3-2 will get us in. 2-3 might work.

We have to go 6-2 over the second half at worst. If we lose 2, lets hope they come against Pittsburgh and Washington.

Win the next two games and then go 3-2 and it equals 6-2 for the second half. St Louis and Washington are the two easiest games left on our schedule. It is hard to see us getting in if we drop either of those.

I am thinking St Louis is better at this point then Pittsburgh. And as for Washington, the free fall in Atlanta has me on the fence there.

The Steelers are turning it around and by the time we play them might have the ship righted. They are a proud team that will not lay down just because they are out of the hunt.

Washington isnt in the playoff race so losing to them wouldnt be that big a deal, losing to the other NFC teams would put them above us in the WC race.
