damn those guys rock! I've heard the name forever but never actually saw them til tonight at the Get Down!Town Festival in Greensboro.

They had a huge bunch of obviously loyal fans and they put on a helluva show. I'll definitely check them out again

It was a perfect night - and I got to drink beer and listen to music while fancy massaged a bunch of sweaty 5K runners - I would say I got the better end of that deal.

Violent Femmes played later but we decided to skip out before they took the stage.

You'll be sorry if you miss them. You'll want to see them again after this weekend.

Well, I'm sorry. The Panther game got good, it rained off and on all day, and it is muggy as a mutha f'er. I'll just illegally download some tracks and decide that way.

I have their latest CD. Experimental, very creative. I really enjoy the first song - can't remember what it's called. XM was playing the shit out of "Matrimony" for a while, mostly on the alt. country countdown show I think.

Four Thieves Gone. About every track's good. Mignonette's strong too.

And I can't believe they were in town in September and I missed them (was in Maine). They are back two more times this year, Charlotte and Raleigh, each of which are sold out a month in advance.
