    He was great with Cream and his solo southernish stuff in the 70's but I don't care for anything he's done since then and wasn't very impressed with the concert I saw in 92

    I remember going to the concert and listening to all that sappy stuff he was doing at the time, yes.

    His Derek and the Domino's stuff he did with Duane Allman in the early 70's, REALLY kicks azz! Recorded over 3 days of alcohol and cocaine abuse, woo hoo!

    I think the first time I saw him was in '89 or '90 and it was a fantastic show, but by the next time, which I think was that '92 tour, it sucked. Had that bald guy with the glasses doing percussion. Not good.
