Bengals are a class team...and we had it won except for the one play, and on the road, same as in minnesota

i don't mind the loss so much, if you told me we'd go 2-2 in that division before the season started, i would have said i'll take it...so now that's the worse we can do

I thought it was their OL handing our DL. Pep had an OK game against a Pro Bowl OT. That made all the difference in the world. He had been dominant against average, or below average, OTs. The rest of the DL was decent, but not overpowering. Cinn has incredibly good skill players. If their OL holds up, they will score points. They had a good OL last year. Maybe they found themselves.

I think the bigger question is what happened to our OL against a suspect DL? We had some good plays, but our OL did not play consistently well. I understand Bridges getting occassionally beat. He's a backup.

I don't know what's going on with Hartwig. If he's playing poorly in practice, or looks out of shape, that's one thing. Hangartner's playing OK. But I don't think he's playing well. If we want to be a playoff team, the OL has to play consistently better. There's only one obvious thing to try. Sure hope we do it.

my thinking was he didn't get in a full week of practice, i don't think it's a good idea to switch Centers unless you really have to with the snap/QB exchange and all JMHO

I thought he practiced every day the last 2 weeks. Certainly every day this week.

It thinks its clear they do agree with you that you don't switch unless you have to. I think we go 8-8 at best unless we improve. Maybe we go 8-8, or worse, any way, but I don't think we're in a position to say we don't need to improve.

I am not hanging the loss on Minter, but he is no where near as good as he was 2-3 years ago. He has clearly lost a step and in next years draft his replacement should be selected. He was late on the Kelly TD for one

I do believe that a replacement should be in order. I just don't believe Minter's problems on the field have to do with age. He never was great at covering the TE and I don't believe you blow coverage because suddenly you're a year older.

Honestly, when they went no huddle, the Panthers just couldn't handle it.

I've complained that we overdid the D-Line rotation. It got exploited today.

Don't be surprised if we see that game plan again.

Yeah Minter was late on the Kelly TD but Draft completly abandonded coverage on the TE there and took off to the outside.

Our offense is feast or famine. We do not have the ability to take the small things the defense gives us in order to sustain drives. We do not do much with the tight ends or backs in the passing game (even though both had a TD today). We tend to either run the ball or throw it to a wide out. It is predictable and easier to defend than more balanced offenses.

The bottom line is we did not deserve to win this game today. When you can't tackle .You are not going to win.The play calling on offense was very bad today. The O Line i think it safe to say mitt have the worst game on the season. We should have run more today then we did.If today was just a let down and we are going to kick the Cowgirls ASS on NBC next sunday night we should be fine. But if we play like we play today and lose.then we have major problem
